Simone Biles celebrated her birthday with a sweet treat!

The seven-time Olympic gold medalist turned 28 on March 14, and over the weekend the sports star shared some photos of herself posing with her black, heart-shaped birthday cake on Instagram.

The dessert had “Twenty ATE” iced on it in white icing, a reference to her 28th trip around the sun.

Biles matched her cake, sporting a black cowboy hat, which she paired with brown cowboy boots, a cowhide-style strapless top and a white skirt.

She tagged her sister, Adria Biles, in the post, while Simone’s husband Jonathan Owens paid tribute to her on social media with a message on her big day.

“Happy birthday to my wife, my queen, my best friend, my everything,” he wrote on Instagram alongside photos of the couple together. “Being married to you is everything i could’ve ever asked for, a beautiful, funny, intelligent and confident person that motivates me to be the best version of myself everyday. I’m so blessed to have met someone as amazing as you baby, i cherish every moment that we spend together.”

Biles embarked on a belated honeymoon with Owens in February 2025. The couple tied the knot in April 2023 after meeting on the dating app Raya in 2020.

She and the Chicago Bears safety flew to South Africa and documented the trip on social media. Biles even revealed that they had a close run-in with a lion that left her feeling a little shaken.

Before jetting off on the trip, the athlete joked that she still had not fully unpacked her suitcases after getting home from the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.

While competing in the Games, Biles added four more medals to her collection. After her impressive showing, questions arose about if she would compete in the 2028 Olympics, which will take place in Los Angeles.

However, Biles has suggested that she won’t be in the running for more silverware in three years’ time. In January 2025, she told Sports Illustrated that she would feel “greedy” to compete again.

“I’m at a point in my career where I’m humble enough to know when to be done,” she told the outlet.
