Four couples agreed to put their relationship to the ultimate test on Netflix’s reboot of Temptation Island — and the most controversial was Brion Whitley and Shanté Glover.

The Atlanta-based pharmaceutical sales rep and pilates instructor agreed to take a vacation from monogamy after being together for a year, citing Brion’s past infidelity and fixation on having a threesome as reasons their relationship couldn’t move forward.

As the show was designed to do, Brion’s true desires were tested and his relationship with Shanté was up in the air for most of the season, which premiered on March 12. By the end, though the couple had to decide whether to end their relationship based on their actions on the island or to commit to each other anew.

So, are Brion and Shanté still together? Here’s everything to know about the Temptation Island couple’s relationship and whether or not they’ve continued dating after the show.

Did Brion and Shanté leave Temptation Island together?

In a very controversial decision, Brion and Shanté decided to leave Temptation Island together. Fans and the producers were shocked by their final choice because of how Brion had acted during the show.

On Temptation Island, his fantasy seemed to become a reality when he was seen entering the villa bathroom with singles Alex Zamora and Courtney Randolph. Though Brion knew Shanté would see the supposed ménage à trois at the bonfire, he said in a confessional the following day that he didn’t wake up “with any regret.”

“I’m still respecting Shanté at the end of the day,” Brion said. “I think women respect honesty and being true to yourself, and I think a lot of women would rather, you know, have someone just be real and talk to them.”

Despite him falling into temptation, Brion and Shanté hashed it all out at the final bonfire and were one of only two couples who agreed to leave the island together.

“I could tell it was more physical and not an emotional thing,” Shanté later told Tudum of her boyfriend’s on-island hookup in March 2025, adding that the intimate conversations they’ve had since leaving Temptation Island wouldn’t have happened if he hadn’t crossed that line.

Brion said that though that night with Alex and Courtney gave him “clarity” about the kind of partner he wants to be, he now regrets it.

“I am giving him grace in this,” Shanté said in a confessional on the show. “It’s not gonna be an easy road for him. That’s for sure. But I believe in our love. I believe that we can make this something special, and I am happy with my decision.”

Are Brion and Shanté still together?

Yes, Brion and Shanté are still together. The pilates instructor told Tudum that after leaving the final bonfire, she and Brion stayed up all night talking about their experience.

“Since we came back home, those conversations have just kept going,” Shanté said, adding that she wished it hadn’t taken a threesome to help Brion figure out what he wanted. “As sad as it is and as annoying as it is, I don’t know that we would’ve had those conversations if that didn’t happen. We could have just been down this bad spiral of not really knowing how each other feels.”

Brion told Tudum that the experience pushed him to share more about his feelings regarding his childhood. “I even cried talking about how I grew up — something I hadn’t thought about in forever,” he said. “It was a big learning experience for me to really see the value of the woman that I have.”

What have Brion and Shanté said about their relationship since leaving Temptation Island?

After Netflix’s Temptation Island premiered on March 12, Brion posted a montage of photos and videos with Shanté. He confirmed in the caption that they are still together and that over the past two years, their relationship has been full of “love, laughter, and growth.”

“I’ve made mistakes I’m truly sorry for,” Brion wrote. “I take full accountability for my actions, and I know I hurt someone who didn’t deserve it. But Shante showed me grace when I couldn’t show it to myself. She stood by me when she could’ve walked away, and that strength and love humbles me every day.”

He added that his girlfriend was the “most incredible woman” he knows and that she “deserves the world.”

Did Brion and Shanté move in together?

As of March 2025, it does not appear that Brion and Shanté live together.

However, they told Tudum that since Temptation Island wrapped they’ve both started therapy and plan to move in together once Brion’s lease is up.
